Esteban León
Esteban León Velásquez (1995) is aPeruvian musician, flautist, composer and teacher residing in Lima - Peru.
She began hermusical studies at the National University of Music of Peru (formerly the National Conservatory of Music) and continued her studies at Katarina Gurska (Spain). She completed her studies in Education at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
As aflautist, he has participated in variousorchestras , such as the "Sinfonía por el Perú" Symphony Orchestra of Juan Diego Florez, and has also participated in programs of the Bicentennial Youth Symphony Orchestra of Peru.
Asa composer, he has worked on conceptual and minimalist pieces, using a classical music format. In 2016, he released his first album, "Etéreo," featuring twelve tracks including "Sol & Luna," "Tomás," and "El hombre que no podía dormir," among others. This album aimed to musically conceptualize short stories using the piano as the main instrument, along with string instruments, flute, and clarinet. He has presented his musical project in variousconcert halls in Lima .
He currently has published works such as "Melancolia", "By Wind", "yllw", among others, which are available on variousmusic platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, among others.
